WYS Instructor's Challenge
The WYS Instructor's Challenge will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2020. The perpetual Instructor's Challenge Plaque will be inscribed with the winner's name and displayed in the WYS Trophy Room. The NOR (Notice of Race) and SI (Sailing Instructions) will be posted below.
The Instructor's Challenge is designed as a recreational race for WYS employees, families, and invited guests. WYS Instructors (or special invited guests) will skipper Flying Scot sailboats. Crew positions are available on a limited basis to WYS members who bid for the opportunity to race with one of the instructors. The highest bidder can select the instructor they want to race with, and the remaining crew positions will be assigned by the Principal Race Officer based on bid value, highest amounts awarded first. A bid of $100 will guarantee a crew position.
Proceeds from donations will go towards the purchase of a new 420 for WYS.
